Reboilers
Reboilers are used to generate heat in a distillation process. Widely used in TEG dehydration and Amine units to regenerate the TEG or Amine, driving off the impurities in vapor form so the fluid can be circulated back to the process. Reboilers can be direct fired by a natural draft or forced draft firetube or can be heated indirectly with steam or hot oil coils. Reboilers are also used as a heat exchanger in processing distillation columns.
